Why McNulty for ADHD

McNulty Counseling

Matched to a specialist, not a generalist. You’re paired with a clinician who has worked extensively with ADHD and executive functioning, not whoever has the next open slot.

McNulty Counseling

Skill-building, not just talk therapy. Sessions focus on practical tools, cognitive-behavioral therapy, behavioral strategies, and mindfulness training, built around your actual day-to-day (work, school, home).

McNulty Counseling

Psychiatry available if you need it. If medication becomes part of the conversation, your therapist and a board-certified psychiatric provider work from the same treatment plan instead of two disconnected practices.

Who It’s For

adult adhd

Adults who lose hours to procrastination and can’t seem to get organized, no matter how hard they try.

teens adhd

Teens who freeze up starting or finishing schoolwork.

childhood adhd

Children who need behavioral support at home and at school, with parents and family involved in the plan.

ADD & ADHD

Anyone who’s already tried “just try harder” and needs actual strategies instead

How It Works

Consult

Free 15-minute consult. Tell us what’s going on, whether it’s your own focus and follow-through or your child’s.

Match

Matched with a specialist same-day. Our care coordinator pairs you with a clinician experienced in ADHD and executive functioning, hand-picked based on your needs.

Meet

A plan built around you. Your first session starts building practical, customized strategies, not a one-size-fits-all program.

Assess

Psychiatry, if it makes sense. Since therapy and psychiatry work as one team here, your therapist can loop in a psychiatric provider without starting over somewhere else.

FAQ

We don’t accept insurance for our therapy services — sessions are self-pay: $150-$185/hour. We can provide a superbill so your insurance may reimburse you directly. We do accept insurance for psychiatry services, including Aetna, Cigna, and United, if medication management ever becomes part of your plan.

A free 15-minute consult usually happens same-day, and most clients are matched with a clinician right on that call. Your first appointment is typically scheduled within a week.

Yes. Our ADHD counseling includes children, teens, and adults, with parent and family involvement built into a minor’s treatment plan.

Let your care coordinator know and we’ll rematch you. The matching process exists to find the right fit, not to lock you into the first assignment.

We’re a therapy and psychiatry practice working from one coordinated plan, so if medication becomes part of the conversation, your therapist can bring in one of our psychiatric providers directly

Yes. Sessions are private and protected the same as any other counseling relationship here.
